Man cannot live on a bumped House Rabbit thread alone. Nor the occasional ping echoing across the æther.

If this chap finds us so fascinating
Or interesting enough, at least to chat about, why does he not just chat to us.

Where's the fun in that?

Twice banned from CycleChat, I operate from here.

We meet again

I propose a dedicated thread on NACA. For the fun of it. We could chat back and forth about politics, current affairs, forums, whatever. It could be a little like I'm American. Ask me anything.

We had a bunny. His name was Checkmate. He was a gift from Hunter S. Thompson, who loathed me. I kept Checkmate out of spite and grew to love him. He, in turn, bit me at every opportunity, but he showed nothing but affection for Julie.

I see the politics board has a discussion about "Dishi Rishi". JFK had sex appeal. Even my wife kept an 8x10 glossy on her nightstand, though she had the good grace to turn it to the wall on date night.

Not many people know that "Tricky Dick" started as a compliment. I'm sure I don't have to spell it out. Let's just say that I could find the rabbit in every hat.

The mods have locked Cycling in dark lanes, female cyclists while they “look at it further.” In the event the braintrust make part or all of it vanish, I’ve archived it for forum scholars who wish to study the phenomenon of male pattern cluelessness.

No need to call my sponsor, this isn’t NACA.

There being no statute of limitations, I am pleased to award the following almost five year old Post Of The Day:

Chuck away the Humbrol and the daft pen. Get your self some One Shot sign paint, some One Shot extender (a kind of thinner, but suited to the paint), some OS stripper, some oil for yer brush and a pin-striping signwriter's brush (I think a kit is available at Wrights of Lymm) and spend a couple of years practicing on flat stuff first (your car bonnet, those old galvanised watering cans, the wheelbarrow, the chest freezer), before moving on to the copper pipes in the loft. By then you should be ready.

Sharpie paint based permanent marker, metallic gold, 1 beer, 1/2 hour, stereo on but turned down.

Much better than I could probably manage, but I agree with the next poster down.
